Is the truth always best ?

Dubai & Nottingham

I watched Closer last night.

When Larry finds Anna had an affair he insists on knowing all the details , including that her lovers cum tastes better than his and she loves his cock.

Once he knows the complete truth, all the gory details he can move on, he exclaims “Thank you. Thank you for your honesty. Now fuck off and die, you fucked up slag.”

Are you like Larry when you’ve been cheated on ?

.

I'm not sure I'm like Larry.

But if someone has cheated on me? Yes. I want to know the bare minimum. It's almost seeing if there's the last bit of respect left while my trust is fading. Sometimes I'll ask questions to try and make sense of it. Try and rationalise through the feeling of wanting to burn every bridge with that person.

Do you know when I'd rather not know? I'll avoid asking questions about it.

If someone has lied to me about what they were doing, had sex with someone and it wasn't great. They regret doing it because it wasn't great. That really fucks me off. If someone ever lies to me, I find out and don't ask questions, that's when I've given up. And that's when I know I don't think I can trust the person fully again.
