I don't think they're more or less important. As Breton, Cornish and Welsh have the same roots. I can just about understand Cornish if I concentrate really hard. But Welsh is a melting pot of languages too, pont (bridge) is Latin in origin. Language evolves with time as it should of it's to remain relevant and not die out. |

Whilst true it's a modern term, it's now a common term to describe certain populations, which people recognise. |
