Depends if you want the central government definition, that used by some of the regional bodies, that used by some of the local enterprise zones, or just a dictionary definition.
It's all very confusing when government bodies cant agree on the area covered by the midlands (for instance Luton has been included in the south east midlands local enterprise zone, as well as the east of england, not to mention its airport seems to think it is part of London). |
