Liverpool

Do you fit in with those of your town/city? Hometown or new home, or both.

I don't. Those I fit in with are so very few and far between.

I definitely do not fit in.

But I'd rather that. Than drop my standards to fit in.

We didn’t. Then we moved, and now we do. Life is much better

Definitely not where I am now.

Probably not anywhere else (but to a lesser degree).

It's a conundrum.

I have fitted in everywhere I've lived. When I look back I realise that every time we no longer fitted we moved.

"Yeah here down south south is very diverse, I fit in well "

Far less diverse up north. Especially in mid size towns.

Fit in? No, never felt that, never belonged.

Nope. I don't think I've ever felt like I fit in and belong somewhere.

I am an impoverished Midlands market town single motherly clone, I fit right in. I intend to become an outrageous Deep South West aged hippy though so need to move as soon as I can afford the camper van.

Just last week some angry twat told me and my friend to go back to our country. I smiled smiled and smiled creepily and waved him on his way to his car, after he had to leave and didn't get served.

On a serious note...

I fit in because it's a mix of so many people, you just blend right inside it. Although the changing demographics and overcrowding aren't making me happier, so when kids leave the school, off we go!

So I didn't fit in when I first moved where I am. But that

saying of "when in Rome...." and all that, is absolutely true.

Fifteen years on, I have developed the most amazing (vanilla) social circle and currently expanding into other non-vanilla areas.

Keep an open mind and follow the lead of locals if you want your own tribe.

xx Jess

South Wales

I’m Welsh, so I feel at home in Wales, whatever part that may be. Obviously some parts are ropey to look at, but there is a strong sense of being Welsh amongst Welsh people that wherever you find a Welsh person you feel like you’re at home.

That makes in my head but may not translate well

Loan wolves it's the best way.

I am product of my upbringing and a miserable marriage to a woman I now hate and loathe.

There are good bits and bad bits to me but life is life and you pushing on hoping paradise is just around the corner………. Or at the very least blow job
