I don't want to know what your job is, but I'm curious to know if it reflects your personality? Or not?
What aspects or skills or personality traits does your job require that makes you good at it?
Or do you just work to pay the bills? Or a mix? Do you enjoy your work? If you're not working, answer based on when you were |

I'm polite, professional and super smiley in my job. It was so made for me.
And yeah I'm awesome at it and enjoy it but I get bored easy so we'll see how long it lasts. |

My job reflects my personality which is why I chose it. Both my last one and this one that’s the case. I have responsibilities and I meet them. I pay my bills etc and as long as a job can do that I’ll do what will make me and others happy. I took a pay cut to take my latest job. |

Renewable Industry for me & I'd say yes it does refect my personality. Requires a lot of team effort of course, but alongside that each individual has to pass a persona test to evaluate how you well you'll get on in the job.
Apparently, I'm quite dutiful and bold which I'd say I can equate to in real life! Everyday is different for me & I love it! |

My jobs ok but it's really just to pay the bills. There are far worse things I could be doing. I feel overworked a lot but my company really appreciates me (I think they wonder what I'm still doing there tbh) so that's nice.
Does it reflect me? Perhaps a little. |

I'm an assertive loud woman. I work in the security industry.
Job was made for me
I did consider a change of career, but I've been doing this job most of my adult life, it's what I know. I have moved to a less physically demanding role though. |

I do enjoy my job at least I do at this time of the year in winter maybe not so much. I’d guess it suits personality I like most feeling free having nobody to answer too and the satisfaction aspect of it. What I don’t like is the unpaid bits that everyone seems to ignore when saying ah it must be nice working for self like giving up your time to price iv often in summer gave up entire Saturdays to measure up and provide quotes and some times you get none of those jobs you gave up your day to look at |

My work requires creativity, lateral thinking, good ideas, an open mind to criticism and feedback, a commitment to high standards, attention to detail, a commercial mindset, the discipline to hit deadlines, and a motivated and passionate attitude. Whether this reflects my personality I don’t know, but I sure love all the things I do Xx |

I am very lucky as in I don’t -have- to work to live. But the idea of being a housewife makes me want to die. I did it for 7 years and hated every single moment of it. Bless my kids, I love them with all my heart, but staying home is not for me.
So I work because I enjoy it. I get really tired and have so many stresses in life with a vulnerable brother who goes suicidal every now and then (think the girl and her brother in Love Actually, and yeah, that’s me) but work is my escape. And as it happens, at present I need to work to fund 24/7 care for my brother as it’s done privately. But I am grateful that I only work half of the month and get to see the world in the process. |

I’m loving my new job, it’s very physical, outdoors and I get to do around 20,000 steps a day
My old job was travelling away, planning and carrying out security jobs. Two very different times but both need certain traits I like to think I have.
Physical stamina, able to plan, intelligence (nit that much though) working under pressure,
Adaptable, work long hours and like challenges.
I gave up my old life to spend more time at home with my family… now it’s spending time with my little girl.
Would I go back to it? No I love being able to see her nearly every day.
My new job will lead to new roles but all hopefully challenging and rewarding and keeping me near my little girl. |

I am lucky enough to work for myself at something I love doing, never going to get massively rich doing it but that is just ‘stuff’ isn’t it? Yes I think it does reflect who I am and who I like to be. Hope this answers your question |

I'm in charge of quite a lot of people, between numerous operations.
But I feel my personality away from work is the complete opposite. At work I'm loud, straight to the point, very demanding in a way. Outside work I like the idea of a mistress having me. |

First of all although I like my job, I'd happily not work if I could afford not to.
It kind of reflects aspects on my nature and the kind of things im naturally drawn to and enjoy. It's not a job that requires you be particularly academic or educated. However you need a certain nature and natural skills. Hence why it's not a job everyone can do regardless of education and intelligence and thus is well paid as the right people are a valuable labour commodity. Its a job where you work alone and everything is personally on your shoulders. Which suits me as I don't really like working with, for or in command of others. That doesn't mean I don't like being social at work, I just work better alone. It requires a lot of personal discipline, logical processing of information, concentration and rigorous knowledge and adherence to strict regulations. Its a very black and white job. It suits those who are bit pedantic and like things to be clear and literal. Its a job with huge responsibility for the lives of many. I'm not the only one on the spectrum in my place of work and I would say it's a job that naturally attracts autistic people.
For me the only thing it lacks for me is any creativity. In my old career I did love the finding innovative technical solutions to difficult technical problems.

I’ve always looked at it differently and chose companies and bosses I want to work for, even if the role looked a bit dull.
It’s easy to go to work everyday if you believe in and trust the company & your boss, work is just work, the main thing is you have adventures, lots of fun , keep learning and build good relationships. |

I love my jobs. One is very wholesome and the other sinfully delicious. People I tell about my jobs think they are a stark contrast but they have a lot of similar traits. It helps being patient and nurturing with a cast iron stomach and un phased by bodily fluids/solids ;-p |

Hmm
I’d say it suits me very well. I’m never in one place for long, I’m creative and active all day and I meet some fancy people.
Obviously I work to pay the bills but I do enjoy it |

Creative, problem solving and talking to people, those are the good bits that match my personality.
Having to be nice to some absolute bell-ends isn’t so good. I work because I enjoy it but I work in this specific job to pay the bills. |

I’m an oddball
On paper I should fail at my job.
I don’t like man people. I’m incapable of small talk, I’m intolerant and I lack filters.
There you have it, I get paid lots for being in corporate sale.
It turns out people like me because they know they can trust me and I don’t do bullshit.
That and I say what the rest of the room is thinking, but can’t bring them self to say.
Amazes me I don’t get fired, time yet though.

I'm good at my job, and reasonably well paid. But, there's a few idiots and I have been known to let them know that they grate my gears. If it wasn't for the salary I earn, I'd be off. I am lucky in that I have two totally different trades, and often switch between the two.
The hours are far too long and I'm not getting any younger. There's not many years to go until my retirement age, and although I won't retire, I'll take on a little part time job. |

Love my job but my body has been telling me otherwise the past few years so it's off the tools and up in to the office, which mentally is much harder, but still like the job.
That said, if I retired tomorrow I would be happy in a home workshop making things out of wood |

Ive been self employed now for around 15 years. I dont think I could work in a 9-5 job again.
Ive 2 businesses, the latest started a couple of years ago born from a hobby.
I love it, adding the wow factor to live band gigs and dance events.
I feel very lucky to have found a market for my skills, its taken alot of hard work but the rewards have been worth it all.

Creativity. Attention to detail. Technical knowledge. Legal knowledge. Patience (to a point). Ability to communicate.
I loved my job and was sad to retire from it. I worked beyond retirement age but everyone has to give up sometime. |
