Every time I look at my beautiful garden I feel happy.
Taking my grandson to the park and seeing him making some friends and having a good time also gives me great pleasure.
I do try to practice mindfulness. |

Just spending time with my daughter..
I’m not a big socialiser , even with family but time with my daughter is very precious to me even though she’s 15 now , doesn’t appreciate it and is glued to her phone 24/7.
Even to this day it still amazes me that I’ve created and helped raise another human being…. |

Had a good weekend. Fun meet on Saturday and then Sunday I went with my daughters to a Bastille day celebration. Wonderful food and the weather was glorious. Reading hosts all kinds of wonderful festivals. |

There's a fabulous video of Tom Hanks sat round a table with other actors (De Niro and Shia Lebouef are two that spring to mind) where he talks about 'this too shall pass'. Have a search on YT.
Something that made me/us happy - finished a guarantor application to allow my mum to move house. We've also had an invitation to an awards ceremony for our eldest where he's doing a speech and also receiving two awards (but he doesn't know he's getting awards
)
Very tangible things I appreciate but happy son/proud parent moments are the most satisfying ones sometimes.

On the school run we go past a corner shop, and for the past month or so in the car park there's been a big burly man with his massive beard sat astride his huge motorbike, drinking a pint of milk. The sight makes me smile. We've started acknowledging eachother, and this morning I got a big smile and a "good morning" off him. A small thing, but it made me happy |

Music always lifts the soul
But I tend to be a cheeky prat to cheer me up

Two teenagers came to my house looking for my Grandson,one of them said that my Grandson wad always talking about me,I said all good I hope and they both replied yes he says your the best Nanna ever,for a 15 year old I'm surprised he wasn't laughed it

Stepping on the scales this morning made me happy. Who knew swallowing causing you pain would result in weight loss?
Something someone's done? Saying yes to a sleepover. I can not describe just how very very very happy it's made me. Drinks, my favourite emotional support animal and all the Swifting. I'm actually ridiculously happy about this, so much so I've booked four hotels and will have to cancel three closer to the day. :D
Something I've seen that's made me happy?
Messages from people. I really like the people in my life. Is that really nauseating? Possibly. I'm very happy with them though.

First of all my apologies. I wrongly assumed you were a single female and not a couple and I may have wrongly assumed that it was Em talking so second apologies there.
But thank you. Annoying paperwork. ID checks and countless emails are out of the way, now we just need to get her moved
And thank you again for your offer of pride although you don't know us/him. He hasn't had the easiest couple of years and we're so very pleased for him. Can't wait to see his face.
Back to you then. Try some mindfulness exercises to recentre yourself. My two favourites are the 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 exercise and the inhale/exhale whilst tracing the outline of the fingers. I won't go into detail here but if anyone wants an explanation then I can post here or message directly.

There are lots of things or people that make me smile. Mainly people.
The other members of my household. They are brilliant. They make me laugh.
A fab friend I chatted to on the phone last night.
The fab friend I spent an afternoon with yesterday and it was gorgeous. He's a good one, I enjoy him a lot.
The one that sends me gif's to show me his thoughts, chats to me daily. He makes me smile too.
The one on my personal phone that every time they pop up I can't help but smile. They really do make my day when they message, especially with the photos they send.
And a totally ridiculous one....the progress of the black velvet alocasia plants I've grown from corms. That makes me smile.
I could list so much more, so much more. |

I've got to work out how not to post about my excitement constantly for the next couple of months now. It may be a struggle for me.

Went to cemetery ( bare with me) to take flowers as you do. Passed an elderly gent sat on a bench looking upset. On way back saw a little girl maybe 6 or 7 stop an give him a flower from the bunch she was taking. His face just lit up an she skipped away.

I spent the weekend visiting my mum which if I’m perfectly honest I wasn’t looking forwards to.
Turned out I was able to help her sort a lot of stuff out that’s been bothering her, I took her out with my brother which she clearly enjoyed.
Yesterday I went to visit my dad in his nursing home, he was very tired and confused but he recognised me and I sat and held his hand as he snoozed.
It made me sad, but also for those special minutes also very happy. |

Spent a weekend with my kids. Bunch of dicks!!
set a date to spend a day with a super hot chick. 
After 6 mth in my job I can work completely independent.

I'm sorry you've been feeling a bit sad. It's hard when it sneaks in and we don't know why. I hope your sparkle returns soon.
I've just been for a 10k walk with my bestie and our dogs. Both of them pleased to see each other and generally loving life. Always makes me feel happier x |

"Went to cemetery ( bare with me) to take flowers as you do. Passed an elderly gent sat on a bench looking upset. On way back saw a little girl maybe 6 or 7 stop an give him a flower from the bunch she was taking. His face just lit up an she skipped away.
