If it was disrespectful the person wouldn’t have shown it
We can pick and choose witch verification to show it’s one off the reason I hold 0 stock in them
No one’s going to show
Turned up 20 minutes late 2 pumps and a squirt and ran out the door
People are only going to show verifies that show them in a good light or what they want other to see off them
So that person has chosen to show that veri meaning they don’t find it disrespectful and that’s the light they want people to see off them |

I think it's the dehumanising aspect that riles me.
On reflection, I do agree if they found it disrespectful they wouldn't of displayed it.

If it's too vulgar for you, they're probably not a good match for you.
Don't get me wrong I would find that too much. So I'd just press the back button and not get upset on their behalf. |

It’s a funny one with regards to reviews. How many does one need for example? I can see it’s necessary particularly for a newbie as it helps confirm they are who they say they are. Aside from that it does have a feeling of trip advisor.
Some are straight to the point so maybe we’re overanalysing to a point.
I don’t know if anyone has done this but when reading a verif of someone do you also check the verifs of the person who wrote it ?
We’ve found it’s helped build a better picture overall of the profile. |

Fab gives one the option to hide or display them. So I assume that if a person displays a verification that I personally find tacky, cheap, seedy (add here any belittling remarks) is that they are okay to be seen like that.

In the past I've had some cringy ones. Good thing that you can hide them. If I write any I tend to focus on the persons personality with a few subtle hints to their skills and avoid "he has a tounge like a hummingbirds wing and a fist of fury" even if it is true ;-p |

I've read all of your opinions and I appreciate them greatly.
Each to their own. Seems to be the general concensus.
I've been on the receiving end of dehumanisation, worthlessness, objectification.
It takes you to a dark, dark place mentally, and can take forever to get over.
Perhaps, that's why I have the view I have, and it triggered me more than it should.

I guess what's an appropriate verification is subjective. I doubt anyone would display a verification they didn't like content of? So if the language used for the verification is fine with the person being verified then that's all that matters. |
