Well Netflix et al is obviously easier with everything there on demand, but I do miss those visits to Blockbuster and walking around going seen, seen, seen, oh that looks good, what’s it about? Choosing the film was a fun activity in itself! |

I miss the good old days when I could go out with my friends, choose a film each (usually horrors) grab some snacks, and most importantly didn’t fall asleep ten minutes into the movie!
But even more nostalgic was the village video shop before Blockbuster existed. 80s movie heaven |

Then you got home and realised the last person hadn't rewound it. Then you had to drive to Blockbuster to return the film. We'll go with what we have now and just remember the old days |

Before BB as a kid we used to have a guy with a suitcase full of pirate videos that would come round our house Friday evenings. We each got to pick a film to rent. |
