Haha my ex used to take the piss out of me constantly for this. Apparently I do it every time I get in a car.

Always when first getting into the car. But I probably get OCD about it when I'm sitting in traffic or at traffic lights that are taking too long to change; I know it's in neutral because I put it there but still check and check.
These days I get into the car and drive forward and the car veers to the left or right because my other half often parks with the wheels at whatever angle. |
