Llanelli

What a tournament for them, didn't even concede a goal and penalty saved in stoppage time

North Bucks

That Spanish team were ridiculous.

The England bench wasn’t much better.

Newcastle and Gateshead

This is a golden age for England at age group levels… remember that saka, foden and Bellingham for example would all have been eligible to play for this under 21 side….

I don't know what the rules are for being in both under 21 and senior squad, luckily this England team is pretty good without them anyway

Yeah it got a bit heated at the end but that's understandable

Absolutely buzzing for Anthony Gordon. He had a tough time at Everton towards the end and couldn’t find form after his move to Newcastle. Hopefully he’ll go on to have an amazing season.

They could have picked them… other countries do but England don’t tend to if they are in the senior squad

The great thing is the depth of the squad …

It's probably too risky in fairness because the players would never get a proper rest player in 3 different squads

I hope the men’s team can learn from the under 21 and the ladies team. No of which are over paid egotistical pricks

I'd hate to earn that amount of money, I'd feel so bad and would really struggle to sleep at night.

I'd probably even start going to church to confess every week because I'd just feel so awful making other people jealous about my bank balance

And the current England squad is probably the least egotistical team in my lifetime. Saka, Trippier, Rashford, Pope and although I hate to say it, Jordan Henderson all come across really well.

The whole squad also gives all their match earnings to charity and have done for a long time

Th sure a good group. I’ve probably missed a few off that list but they’re the most likeable England team I’ve ever seen.

They have great character and spirit, they've been unlucky not to lift a trophy in last few tournaments

So happy for the group, massive props to Lee Carsley for setting them up in the way he has, and bringing them together. If the normal side had the same guidance we'd be euro champs across the board right now.

The senior squad will do it eventually

Some of these 21’s were parts of squads that won the under 17’s and under 20’s World Cups… so they know how to win at tournaments…
