All over

Following the suggestion on another thread that some non-brand products are the same as brand ones repackaged but costing a lot less, lets save a few quid. If you know such a non-brand product, list it here

"Maybe they were lying? "

You may be right. Someone said they were working at the place that do that. Who knows?

I buy store brand condiments but rarely savers branded stuff. I tend to buy whatever is on special offer. I've little brand loyalty.

debenhams Your paying for the labble on the inside off the clothing

They owned by the boohoo group

They stocking mostly the same stuff for own brands

Only difference is the label on the inside one says boohoo the other says debenhams

Picked up a skirt last week from boohoo £7 the exact same skirt in debenhams £25 only difference was the label

Even the name off the skirt was the exact same

Also they were literally useing the same model pics across both sites

I've worked in the food industry and this is very common there - often supermarket own brands are basically taken from the same batch as a big brand, just with a different label stuck on.

I've also worked testing household appliances with customers including which magazine - there's a lot of tricks there, for instance one store will price match any appliance if you find it cheaper somewhere else... But this is often because it's a unique product not sold anywhere else so they don't have to price match. In the case of a dishwasher though the difference between the models can be something as small as the normal model has supports that fold down, whilst the shops custom model has supports that don't fold down
