I used to think Abbey Clancey was an almighty pain in the hoop but having watched a wee bit of her and Peter Crouch's podcast I think she's adorable. Daft as a brush and quite endearing.

I'm not sure if she is a celebrity but I've seen her on Piers Morgans show a few times and she is an irritating gobshite. She is the short haired BLM activist that always looks like she is sniffing farts while being condescending as fuck.

I'm of that wonderful age where if I watch a program that has "Celebrity" in the title I rarely recognise anyone featured. Most seem.to be Z listers at best, amazing what passes for celebrity these days. |

If we are counting sports players as celebrities then I'll go for Conor McGregor. I thought he was a good guy when I trained with him. Very supportive of his team mates. The the character toom Iver when he realised he could do no wrong in the UFC and now he is a total prick. Wants to be the celebrity without doing what got him there. Joke of a boy he is. |

Stacey fucking Dooley did my absolute head in.
Watched one of her documentaries. I am very happy indeed to be horribly wrong about her. She's right up there with Louis. I love her now.

I find the whole Parasocial interaction thing to be a bit of a head scratcher. I don't understand how people become so invested in or think they know a person they really don't know much about.

I'm not invested in any celeb. Any time I had a brief glimpse of Abbey on TV I found her irritating. And now I've changed my mind. This thread is maybe more about how you can e wrong about someone initially, celebrity or otherwise. |

I've turned into my mum. Any celebrity type show I'll know someone from the 80s who has been wheeled out for comedy value, but everyone else I spend the entire show going "whos that then? Who is she? What's she been in before? Should I know her?".
It's very irritating so people tend to turn those shows off around me.
Together with a total lack of awareness of sports and soaps it makes me shit in some pub quizzes.
To answer your original question though OP I don't like Tom Hanks in a film, I find him really irritating. I've seen a couple of interviews with him and he seems thoroughly lovely and a really decent bloke. |

He is fair with what he says. I think the issue is he gets extremists or far left/right people on that have outrageous and unfair expectations on how people should be. I think he is fairly middle of the road as is most of society. |

Kris Akabusi always used to annoy the shit of of me- then I had to work with him one day with a couple of other full time TV presenters- he’s one of the most professional, focussed and prepared people I worked with in any industry and genuinely a nice bloke |

Most of the "celebrities" I have changed my opinion of are the ones I've met in a sport capacity or through work. Very rarely is it from a different showing of them on a different show/broadcast |

He use to just be so boring in the NFL, his interviews just use to send me to sleep but since he has retired he seems to have found a personality and s across as quite a nice bloke.

He was always a great guy. Always had time for fans and especially the young fans. I'm a pats fan and personally think he is an overrated QB. Off the field though, I have always thought he was a decent guy and I have always taken pleasure in reminding a Uni friend of mine that Tom Brady pumped his girlfriend after their high school prom. |
