Yeah, two of those are fucking awful
I only know one of them. And it’s an awful one"

Nothing more pleasant to pick, from your childhood? Any that aren't derogatory terms for disabled people, perhaps? |

Scudge, instead of excuse me. I still say it now and people have no idea what I mean. Scudge over please.
But now I'm thinking is it a word my family made up? Because nobody recognises it, and Google comes up blank unless I'm spelling it incorrectly? I thought it was a northern thing but maybe not. |

It is real. I tell people to scudge up. Never written it down before so not sure on the spelling either!

"Groovy
I love you I think, Groovy chick. "
That reminds me: I don’t know if it was in a film or I actually heard someone say “ if you’re a girl, I think I love you”. I hope I heard it for real. |

"Slapping someone’s forehead and shouting “spam”
When would you do that? I’m not sure I know anyone well enough to do it but I’m willing to give it a go. Maybe in the supermarket next time. "
Usually going past them in the opposite direction in the school corridor. These days, as adults, perhaps on an escalator with people going in the other direction being potential victims. They need to have a big five head showing to warrant it. |

"Flid,Spac,Spaz and Deacon.

Just terrible.
"Deacon" was derived from a disabled man called Joey Deacon. He was a running feature on the kids TV show Blue Peter in the mid 1980's. Even for the time bastardising his name into an insult usually aimed at children by children was low.
There are no words.
Anyhow, my word is chinned. This meant someone was going to be involved in a fight after school. "You're gonna get chinned after school" or "I'm going to chin you after school". Being chinned or chinning someone did not involve the proactive use of anyone's chin being used as any kind of weapon or attack strategy.
There you have it.

"‘Jimmy Hill’ whilst stoking chin and listening to obvious bullshit…
*stroking chin"
Chinny reckon round here in the early 80s. I'm sorry it's no longer in general use, as in most work meetings I get the urge to say "chinnnnnnnyyyyyyy" at least once. |

"Townies ... the chaos predecessor
Ohhhhhhh yes! I'd forgotten about townies. See my earlier comments about chavs. It was measured by the wearing of Rockport boots at our school "
