I've got a day off!
I've a brilliant few days ahead of me. I'm meeting some wonderful people.
And someone's words yesterday and last night make me feel very lucky.

I'm fairly healthy, I'm in the fortunate position to not be too affected by the cost of living, I have Friday off work and it's my Mum's birthday on Saturday so we're all going out for food.
Thank you for this thread, Dan. Just typing that out has perked me up a bit |

Awesome GF, wonderful bears(pups), a great home in an amazing part of the country.
A job on decent pay and not too many hours.
Life can throw awful things at you, and we've had our share, especially recently.
Enjoy life when it's good, be grateful for what you have and take nothing for granted. |

Wimbledon sounds great, especially after the 'chaos' . I haven't been for years but loved it when I used to. Enjoy both that and the family visit |

"Our puppy is just the best dog ever
We’re both in decent health
I’m smashing the gym at the moment and reaping the benefits (see profile picture )
We’re very fortunate in life, overall
Sasha "
Echoing the smashing the gym comment - you look fantastic and I was admiring your profile pic earlier! Well done you |

We have everything we could possibly need, including a great family and some amazing friends. On top of that we’ve got a lot of annual leave coming up and we’re REALLY happy about that

My back is so screwed up I am walking like Robocop.
It's kinda fun making the noises as I move though...
As for reasons to be happy though, ace people, great times, with more to look forward too. |

Life is good isn't it? Lots of things are making me happy right now - good music, seeing my home take shape, my fiancé and family, fantastic friends who make me laugh and bring me joy every day, a photography date, a date this weekend. A holiday somewhere warm.
And finally submitting an application to something that I'm very excited to hear back about.
And straw hat shopping. Might as well embrace in my inner twonk.
It's going to be a beautiful Summer and an even better Autumn. I just need to work out how to fit everything in now. :D |

I'm heading to the gym very shortly then my 2 teenage children and I are off to see my eldest son today. He lives 1.5 hours a way so it will be great to see him.
Sadly Mr can't go as he has to make hay while the sun shines. |

Getting to an age where waking up in the morning is always a welcome relief….. but today….. what makes me happy is the thought of meeting up tomorrow with a fabulous friend |
