I used to love that as a kiddie, I was a bit too young 45 years ago to properly appreciate it on its first run but loved Cupid Stunt, Sid Snot and the rest. Definitely a product of its time, would never be made now, great tv!

Yeah, but it was so different, groundbreaking at the time, and the editing really shook telly up.

Just a shame that the channel in question heavily censors them, which is does in line with modern "sensibilities". It's annoying that their stuff comes with so many content warnings, yet they cut it to ribbons anyway.

I was about 5 when the show was first broadcast, and remember them vividly from the time. I remember wondering why they went from the really cool animated Captain Kremmen to the very poor live-action sketches. Obviously, this was before I really grasped the concept of cutting back on budgets!

Controversial at the time with Mary whitehouse calling it obscene and trying to get it banned..... how ironic that he was one of the few radio1 Djs that didn’t turnout to be a nonce , Maybe he was one of the reasons that I dress up in women’s clothes (all in the best possible taste of course tho)

Saw a content warning about "the language and attitudes of the day" the programme was made in 2010.

Many year ago we had a works fancy dress party. A guy went as Cupid Stunt and won first prize. Unfortunately the girl who awarded the prizes was that p*ssed, she announced "the winner is Stupid..."

I'll let you guess the rest!
