Cats, i just love my cat so much i just sit watching her sleep. She does get into so strange and funny positions.
Funniest was when i bought her a santa suit for christmas and when i put it on her she ran round the house backwards |

I've never been a cat lover until my oh said she had seen a kitten that needed a good home so we went for her and I feel in love with her instantly, I'm still not a fan of other cats, but she's different |

i like cats they are nice to look at.
since i was a kid i have always wanted a dog though, my dad said they were dirty and needed to much looking after.
my hubby has bought me 3 little dogs since we have been married.
i think dogs are more interesting, you can take them for walks and they like to be made a fuss of. |

We have always had both , currently have three dogs and two cats .
I prefer dogs as they tend not to sit on the computer keyboard or clean washing pile . |

If I had my way I'd eradicate every cat from the face of the earth, especially the ones that take delight in shitting in my garden and digging up my plants |

Dogs all the way! Cats are evil sly little creatures.
Nothing better than walking in the front door and having your pooch come rushing over to see you :D |

We've had both, still got our cats, we lost our choc Labrador in July, miss her very much!! Dogs are loyal, faithful and mans best friend genuinely, cats you can't own, their selfish, scatty but lovely to pet and stroke.
I do love cats, bit easier to look after, but dogs are ace!! I would like another one, but not sure??? Hmmm what to do |

"Got a springer... Just the best critter in the world to hang out with.....( David)
No cats for me...."
We had an English Springer he was crazy but a lovely dog, he didn't get on with out two cats though. We lost him three years ago, he had kidney problems and was only five.
I miss him all the time and am sure he is still about !!
Our work schedule now means we can't have another one so my cats are my babies now and the youngest thinks he is a dog anyway lol |

Well at the moment the Lab is upside down asleep on one of the Sofas and the other two are zonked on the floor. |

South Birmingham waiting for the bf to come back after crimbo |
Have had both in the past and loved both species, but in my opinion a dog has to be a big dog, ie, worth having, I would hate to be trying to walk something on a lead that's smaller than a large cat.
Would only have cats now as too many problems with neighbours for dogs |

I have two male pedigree ragdolls...the pair of them are typical of the breed and provide much entertainment as well as exasperating moments! Don't like dogs and don't have time to look after one anyway. |

Have 2 cats and they are lovely but I miss my Bassett so much. I'd have another Basset Hound tomorrow as they are fabulous and have such character but I work long hours so its not fair on them so sadly I have to stick with cats! |

dogs all the way!!!.....although i have two cats!
Lost my boy (bestest dog ever) suddenly a few months ago and since i can t really have another one i decided to take two cats on...a few months on and i m kinda regretting. the bond between a dog and its owner is just so much deeper than the one you get with cats, maybe i should have thought about that decision a bit more |

Kitties get my vote!
Dogs are too dependent for me-I like that cats do what they please as they please when they please!
I find some dogs can get a bit whiffy too!

Dogs any day of the week, I cant stand cats not sure why though. I have had 2 collie and a mongrel when I growing up, like someone else said the collie was too smart for its own good sometimes. |

Kept both. Dogs are more work than cats but you get much more emotional engagement back from a dog than a cat. Plus, get the right dog and they herd the kids when you take em to the park....... |

We have one of each. Our cat is nearly 15yrs old and she is def in charge. Our dog is a heinz 57. He is as daft as a brush, a proper baby, terrified of the cat and utterly devoted to us. When we come home he practically sends us flying.
Cats are easier to look after as they can take themselves for walks. Wouldn't part with either of them though. |
