I’m currently watching Schitt’s Creek while having pain killers on tap. I love how witty this show is but I’ve been watching it since 6am!

What are your feel good movies or shows you go to when feeling like crap? Stuff that’s not too loud, pretty chill, easy watching/listening?

Scrubs is good for this. I like the sarky, witty banter

OP, I'm going to level with you. I watched the first 30 minutes of the first episode of the first season of Schitt’s Creek. I found it cringe-worthy from all the sacharin faux comedic American humour, contrived madcap nonsense with enforced canned laughter in the background. Of course there was no canned laughter in the background but it was happening in my brain.

It's awful.

Sorry OP.

Is the Peter Kay show the one where the “dogging” scene is from?

I agree with you, it is really cringe! I think I like when I’m ill because I don’t have to pay any attention to it. Not worried about missing any plot because there really isn’t any

Whilst I love the movie, the “it’s not your fault” scene would make me feel depressed right now
