I'm meant to be going with my nephew...
And after spending the afternoon with an elderly relative deadnaming him yesterday... I can't wait to give him the biggest hug to show that he is loved and accepted... |

Sadly I may have to give it a miss this year but I’m not willing to pay what the hotels are charging. I may drive to Manchester Friday or Saturday night and join in the fun I’ll have to see on the day.
I hope if it’s your first you have a great time, it’s very busy so you won’t be on your own as a first timer either dressed outside or first celebration.

I accidentally walked into a sparkle weekend four or five years ago. I met some great people but the overall experience was frustrating: queuing for bars, inflated prices for drinks, just so, so busy!
I actively avoid Sparkle now. I much prefer my nights out to be low key events ( obviously with plenty of guys to meet and get friendly with! ) |

"I had a great time "
Excellent news, shame about the rain. Unfortunately I had to give it a miss this year but hopefully back next time.
From other Tgirls I have chatted with they say the weekend was as great as well. |

I had an Amazing time at Sparkle.
Although it's non profit and it's free event, I still contribute.
I don't drink much, so therefore Canal St on the night is a cheap night out for me.
T-Girl Live bands and drag acts etc. on the night.
I'm glad I took an umbrella for when there was a spot of rain. But the rain always cleared and the show continued after a health & safety pause or two. It just added to the excitement.
Loads of support groups on in the stalls and the adjacent building down the road. Loads and loads of stalls. Great variety of food stalls, surprisingly clean portaloos.
Manchester is also Amazing for shopping and food. Afflecks Palace, Arndale Centre, Charity Shops. Kiki make up shop, clothes shops.
Made new friends. It was Brilliant!! Looking forward to next year. |

I had a great time too. First time in Manchester also.
I didn't drink at all so no hangovers to be dealing with |
