For football commentary on the radio and Sport on 2 (as it was then, now on 5 Live) the late, great Bryon Butler was the GOAT, an icon as I grew up listening as a kiddie |

Slightly more niche interest, but Raymond Brookes-Ward or Lucinda Green for 3 day eventing.
