Recognise from fab in a social setting etiquette

May be a stupid question but as a newbie I will ask anyway. If you found yourself in a social setting (with friends for example) and saw someone you recognised from their pics on here. Would you consider approaching them (obviously very situational so it would be when you are at the bar alone as are they for example to avoid any one they are with or you are with knowing what’s happening) or is that still a no no on any costs ?
Would you want someone to approach you if the ball was on the other foot ? Again only when you were alone.
If so what would one say ? “Good evening, I am sure I recognise you from somewhere ? Are you having a FABulous time?”
Clearly this scenario is very very situational and if it were me I would be ensuring that no one felt uncomfortable or freaked out but just curious.

Nope, fab and vanilla life are totally separate I wouldn't like it if anyon approached us while we were out.

Just don't do it.
And don't message on fab later and say "I saw you at xx"
Both have been done to me on several occasions and it is creepy regardless of whether I find the person attractive or not.
If you want to approach someone, approach them without mentioning fab, as you would anyone.

Approaching and mentioning anything from here would just tell me you have no discretion |

Nope, I would be pissed if someone did that to me. Our fab lives and real lives are completely seperate, the least we can offer each other is discreetness and respect. |

Thank you for the replies, and confirmed what I thought. I appreciate that everyone is different and don’t doubt judging by some of the other threads and replies that there are a lot of guys who wouldn’t have the filter or discretion but the replies have confirmed my thinking.
Have a wonderful Saturday everyone |

Hi, OP. I agree with all the others above. The joy of the forums is that, despite now having the answer to your question, you can’t cease your own threads and you’ll now get another 160 posts with the same message.
Well, maybe 159 with one fucken idiot (and before one of you hilarious chuffers says it, that’s not me hahaha) |

Unfortunately I have just discovered that very issue, fortunately I don’t get any notifications to replies to the thread so I shall just ignore it from now on. Thank you all again for the input. |

As an example, since you have no public pics on here, I'd say you shouldn't broach that subject with anyone in a social setting. It's just flat out stalker.
If there's been some interaction on here, you each know what the other looks like and you could say hi without embarrassing them, why not.
A silhouette profile stranger we'd never spoken to coming over and saying they recognised us from here would get a straight right in the kisser. |

Ive more chance of winning the lottery than that happening, So It wouldn't bother me when I'm out and about alone, I've had many a cuppa social with newbies and I don't have explicit pics on my profile. Do it when I have company and I'm gonna get cross... |
