After a bit of advise from any owners. Am thinking of buying a vw camper appreciate not the cheapest and not after arguments about paying for the badge etc. I’m prob selling my car to help pay for it so it would also be my sole mode of transport as well as for getting away in. Does anyone use one daily and how practical are they for everyday general use?
On a side note have also looked at the Ford custom as an alternative has anyone owned a vw and a Ford and if so which came out the best in your opinion

Cant really help with advice (sorry!) but I AM of that age that whenever I see a VW camper I find myself shouting out (well in my head anyway! ) “It’s the Libyans! Run for it Marty!”.
The kids of today just won’t understand.. |

I had a 1978 VW type 2 and 1976 Mk1 Ford Transit motorhome, good fun while they lasted.
If you're after a classic then you have to watch out for rust and give up on the idea of fuel economy.
