Between a tv and crossdresser? I honestly don't want to offend anyone but curious to know x

One enjoys being a man but dressing as a women thr other has women hormones and identity as a women or man depending on gender

Isn’t that a transsexual, not a transvestite?

Going back to the OP, I dunno, I think it’s one and the same to be honest, interchangeable terminology, but I’m no expert in the field and I’m sure I’ll be corrected

The (generally accepted) distinction is a tv will make an effort to achieve a complete look, a crossdresser might wear clothing items (eg lingerie) but not go additional steps.

Either could also be transgender, depending on how they gender identify.
