I seem to recommend this to everyone lately, go listen to The Hu, Mongolian metal band that has done music for Star Wars, I saw them in November and it was easy one of the best gigs I’ve been to. Highly recommend Black Thunder, Wolf Totem and Yuve Yuve Yu if you go looking for them |

One of the best ways to find stuff you would never otherwise find is to search for Playlists for different Dance styles. Dancers are always looking for their *next fix* and wanting music that is fresh and different. Even if just to find artists that maybe fit your current mood.
Try things like: Neo Swing, Blues (drag, chicago, delta, jump, swamp...), Balboa, Bachata, Blues Dance, Modern Swing/Lindy, West Coast Swing, Ceroc, etc |

I was at their gig in November last year and it was amazing, I genuinely didn’t expect Academy to fill out with people wanting to see The Hu, I was expecting half the venue at best. Did you see their Glastonbury set? They had a circle pit which we never got in Manchester  |
