I go to Thruxton a couple of times a rear. Spend the weekend camping in my trailer tent. The great thing about that is where you enter the track area from the campsite you are on an embankment overlooking the track. Great views. Going next weekend for the supertrucks. |

"I don't go, but love touring car.
At least these guys actually race against each other.
F1....nah, that's just boring, same old, same old. "
Totally agree and get a lot more access to the pits and drivers etc, value for money with the full days racing |

When the rally comes to Leeds we like to go over and watch if the kids aren’t about. We’d love to go to the IOM for the TT one year too. Not avid fans but we watch and enjoy it when footballs not on

Actively involved in pretty well all forms of 4 wheel motorsport, Rallying,Sprinting,Hill Climbing, Trialling and Autocross as Driver, Marshall, Scrutineer, Organiser, Steward and Dogs Body for over 50 years until mobility issues brought it all to an end. Try to watch wnen there is motorsport on T.V. and there are usually some good videoes on you tube.
With regard to F1, the first race I went to was Spa in 1962 and was an ardent fan until the end of the Cosworth DFV era.
Do away with the strategists and pit counter paraphernalia, take the radios out of the cars and we might just get some good racing. |

"Does f1 even count as a sport?
...may be slightly more than Formula E ...that's just odd?!"
Especially fan boost. What's that about?
Having said that though, who is going to the formula e race in London this weekend? |
