MADE YOU LOOK!

I know this isn’t the place for it but I really like trees and have a bit of a bonsai collection (form an orderly queue ladies) which is going well.

I’ve been trying to find a certain type of tree for quite a while and finally found one! Today is delivery day and I’m beyond excited!! Don’t care how sad that is

What small pleasures get you excited day to day??

Mr

I want a bonsai! I tried growing one and failed miserably.

Me and wood just don't go together.

Oh I think that's really lovely Op. I had one, once. Note the had.

I'm very much all for the excitement of small pleasures in life.

Messages from/seeing friends/lovers. The smell of good food cooking as I pat myself on the back. Seeing a full moon always makes me smile. Oh and after a long walk in the rain, the joy of a hot shower.

I’ve had 2 bonsai in my life and killed both quite quickly despite reading up on what I need to do and how to care for them so clearly I missed something quite important. I manage to do the same with orchids too. Might have one last go as always wanted to have one growing away nicely

I managed to kill two air plants.

As for small pleasures? The look on the dogs faces each morning when I come downstairs.

And the first coffee of the day.

Not half as much mockery or wood based jokes as I was expecting!

The one coming today is a Banyan Fig that has aerial roots which is why I’m so excited! Tried to cultivate aerial roots myself and failed miserably! So bought a ready grown one

Mr"

If I was gonna plant a tree I'd go for a redwood rather than a bonsai.

Size matters when it comes to wood.

*is that better?
