As for musicals, i hate most and wouldnt see something like that abba crap or f...ing sound of music but les mis is different....to me anyways |

Well i went last night and few critisisms ..
I didnt like her who played cossette, she sounded like a chipmunk on speed and russel crow was a wash out as javere.
Thought hugh jackman was brilliant and ann hathaway .
The cinema was packed and you could have heard a pin drop when it was on.

I have to point out I am a hairy arssed rugby playing lorry driver who drinks real ale and think a good curry is high dining (lol)
About five years ago I was dragged kicking and screaming like a petulant five year old to see the ballet Swan Lake. I loved it and now go as often as I can to the ballet. I have since tried opera (not keen) plays, musicals and even Shakespeare (again not keen) and am now hooked on the thearter including musicals. I have learnt never to dismiss anything without trying it first |

I loved it. Another film that surprised me was Anna Karenina, most of the film was in a theatre setting, another novel concept to get used to but was wonderful once you got past the initial differences. |
