If you put 'let's all hit the Cock Inn in Cockfosters at 3pm on Saturday' then the odds are that you'll be inundated with cock. It's the reason the site doesn't allow things like dogging locations to be shared in the forums.
If you put a post up saying 'who fancies a group social somewhere near Penge on Sunday - comment here if you're interested' then you can do some vetting, decide who looks like a potential axe murderer and who doesn't, and then share time, date and exact location via PM.
It'll stop the pub wondering why 100 random men suddenly appear at the same time and make it less likely they'll panic and phone the police.

There was a forum social in a Sheffield pub a few years ago and the local men had clearly found out about it.
The poor landlord had no idea why his pub was suddenly absolutely packed out with a 'works do' upstairs and loads of thirsty men downstairs. |
