Why is it that you order a little something and it's bound to arrive in a box 10 times its size and full of that shredded stuff or bubble wrap etc. I am not talking anything particularly fragile. So much waste not to mention the effort to get rid of all that stuff. A few of those and your recycling bin is full.

I have noticed Amazon is making an effort to cut down on packaging

I'm sure there are many on here who will share their disappointment at receiving what they initially thought would be a large package, but when unwrapped was so much smaller than advertised

I'd write a strongly worded email to the company and demand they remove the recycling for you.

It’s so that after paying for the item you can live in the cardboard box

But it's the waste really that bothers me most. I don't think they will take any notice. I ordered some batteries recently (AAA) box of 6. They came in a box size of a shoe box

I brought a wooden rake handle off Amazon a couple of years ago.

Thought it would arrive rolled in cardboard or plastic but no. It arrived in a box which you could of got 100 in

I would be more inclined to moan about packaging which is too mean to ever accommodate the item for storage once it has been unpacked initially.

I am always happy to acquire generous packaging for future use.

All sizes are over estimated these days.
