When an old friend turns up as a swinger couple.

So we were going to go to a social recently but when we joined the Kik group we found that a couple on there was one of his old friends from years ago. Not a particularly close friend but know him and some of his family and did go out with him occasionally many years ago.

Also found by there veris they frequent the club we go to, we have not yet bumped into them yet but it’s only a matter of time.

Not sure how we will feel when, will it be awkward or probably just laugh it off. Do we just go to the next social and say sod it or do we avoid.

What would you do, block and avoid any socials and hope we don’t go club same night or just go to social and all be potentially embarrassed.

She’s bit nervous of people knowing, always avoided playing local etc etc but I know we all there for the same thing and all like our privacy

Anyone had this happen and how did it play out

They are in this for the same reason as you and probably have the same worries about people they know too.

Just laugh it off.

Reading

I am dreading an ex Feb turning up. 8 have blocked his single profile and would not want him contacting me.

The only one of my fwbs that ended badly.

Manchester-ish

We bumped into some friends from 'vanilla life' at a social recently. After the initial WTAF moments it was fine. We had a great chat and while we agreed that any sexy times would be too weird, we keep in touch and now we have friends we can discuss this lifestyle with, it's quiet liberating.

If we'd known they were also attending the same event we would have dropped them a message a few days before to let them know we would be there, just so there was no power imbalance.

Bumping into someone I know in a club, gives me the fear!

I have an ex Fwb, (who I met on my first ever club visit last year) whos face I definately wouldn't want to see again.

So you have my sympathy, I can completely relate to how you feel.

But if there is no animosity or bad feelings etc, then there's no reason for it to be awkward I guess x
