Following the post. We are off next week. We are meeting Vanilla friends so suggestions here are good.
However, we've got 24 hours on our own so, what do you recommend. Been sex museum 25 years ago, worth return visit. What other naughtiness? |

Just wander and enjoy the beauty of the city and canals.
Stop when you find what interests you..
Fab restaurant called 1st klass on the platform at Centraal Station...
It's in the old 1st class waiting room.
The Zeedijk that leads into Chiba tien is just opposite central station and has good bars and restaurants.
Around thee is the Red light area .. de Wallen is the oldest area of the city.
The oude kerk is there.. the oldest church.
Try getting a free ferry across the harbour from directly behind Central Station.
You can walk under tge Station through a pedestrian shopping mall.
Head left at the end and get the ferry across to NDSM wharf.
Good cafe called Plek with a fake beach so lovely in the sun.
Interesting and more bohemian area to explore.
Vondel Park is good for a walk around and to relax and eat a broodje or a picnic in.
It's across the Road from Leidseplein area.

Sex museum is sort of naughty tourist stuff...might be a bit too tame for you but vanilla friends it could be fun thing.
There's a sex cinema between the end of Singel flower market (opposite the Munt Toren... end of Kalverstraat)
It's on the straat to Rembrandtplein.
B1 I think it's called.
Has a straight and gay cinema but open to wander about.
I'd say it's mostly guys there.
BTW... at Kalverstraat shopping centre there is cafe Blue... lift up to it inside.

There is a place that's name i don't remember that has the best apple pie in the Netherlands (hi, I'm fat)
The Dolphin (coffee shop, cool place, great vibes, friendly people and amazing edibles)
The sex museum is great fun. The vintage porn section is legit stunning.
Van goh museum
The other big art museum that I just also forgot. Good work.
Red light district in the dark is beautiful, and it's very nice. It's not seedy or dirty at all.
The sex club that has the large neon elephant has live sex shows, audience participation events such as eating a banana from between a pretty woman's thighs, shows like pole dancing and artist things with pussys.
Avoid the bulldog brand chain of coffee shops. Full of lads and loud English people.
