Leeds University report that that an electric vehicle is over 300kg heavier than it's petrol or diesel equivalent causing untold extra damage to roads and tyres wearing out more quickly. So much for eco credentials. We are being treated like fools. What's going on here guys. It's all over the news .... |

Omg really?
Battery’s weighing more than a tank of fuel
Who would of guessed that
And what’s even worse is the smug fuckers who drive evs don’t even pay towards to up keep wear and tear on the roads
Go figure
Hopefully when the councils run out of £££ to repair pot holes them heavy weight ev smash the alloy wheels to bits
See who’s smug then !
Knowing my luck it will be my wheels that get stuffed 1st

"Apparently there’s a risk that if we all convert to electric cars, some multi storey car parks would be at risk of collapse under the weight .. eek "
This story was later retracted by the car park association.
If you want an interesting but correct statistic, here’s one for you. If you got paid £40,000 every day from when Jesus was born to now, you still wouldn’t have as much as Shell made in profits last year.
The oil companies really, really don’t want you to buy an electric car and they’re prepared to say all sorts of things to support that. |
