I think I'm okay looking. Sometimes I think I'm hideous (hi PMT) other times I think I'm kind of cute. I like how I look when I wake up in someone else's arms, I look cute then.

I don't think I'm anything special but equally, I don't think I'm awful. I kind of like me.

No I don’t. I think I’m bloody amazing…and I’m deluded.

I hide my face because from past experience it’s been an unexpected filter (send face pic…stop talking for blocked) so I avoid that so I at least can hang around here and chat on the forums.

I’d still say we’re about average. I think we’re both quite nice to look at and we seem to get interest from the people we find attractive so we’ll take that as a big win

Do other people find me attractive? Some do and say so, a lot of others don't say either way, so I assume I'm not to them.

The thing is, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, there's always someone out there who'll find someone attractive whether they think they are or not.

The reason why there’s always old sayings is because people before us have experience and wisdom and truth. The saying I refer to is beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So you will be a 10 for some people, but a 2 for others. Just as someone will be a 10 for you and the 2 for other people. So regardless of how you rate yourself, you are a 10 for some.

But as with everything, attraction is subjective, and an average person can become elevated with their attitude, same as a beautiful person can loose their edge, with an ugly attitude xx

I don't think I am but then 45 years of looking at the same face...how can you tell?

It's like when you look at your friends isn't it? If they suddenly asked if you thought they were attractive you'd look at them and say you're YOU I don't look at you that way and I'm so used to your face etc I can't tell. Don't we do that with ourselves?

Though being fair I hardly look in the mirror or see myself.

I feel attractive once I've covered up the panda eyes and rosacea face with makeup. Without it I feel average and invisible. I like being invisible a lot of the time.

Not on the whole but I also don’t think I’m unattractive, just a middle ground “meh” which is why I do put my face here. Would hate to meet someone and for them to be disappointed. What you see is what you get

I don’t think I am attractive, never did but the older I get the more I’m in peace with myself.

I’ve got pretty much hard life and it shows on my face. I can see how stress, sleepless nights, very limited financial resources and past traumas make me look when I try to compare myself to other women.

But then I strongly believe, and I teach it to my children, attractiveness is not about looks. It’s about wisdom, confidence and knowing our own self worth that counts.

I certainly think I’m average. Never considered myself attractive but I am confident. When I do send a face pic, I haven’t had anyone run away so that’s good. I often get told I have an innocent look, regularly get ID at supermarkets! Winner

No, but most of us Ladies have had unattainable ideas of what's "attractive" pushed into our heads from a very young age, so even if we are, we will probably never believe it.

Guys on here tell me I'm hot all the time, but I take all compliments from horny Men with a pinch of salt, as I tell myself they're just saying what they think they need to say to try and get laid.

It's rather sad actually, but I know I'm not alone in my thoughts. x

Over the years on dating apps, I've found that I'm really not all that appealing. Barely any attention or interest, when I do get some interaction it is very limited and ends quickly. Maybe I'm boring too!

Even on then street or out in public, very few looks or smiles. Nobody strikes up a conversation. Not even a hint for me to feel I should make the first move.

My appeal is very limited I guess.

I like the word appealing more than attractive or unattractive.

In the sense partners or friends pick up on it, find it 'cute' to begin with; it becomes a thing they don't drop and then try to convince me that I am.

That says a lot about her own confidence, and in that of her partner.

Great, some cleavage is out. I may take a glance, it's often difficult not to do that when first noticed. But that's it, I'm not going to gawp at a woman's chest just because it's partially on view and especially when I've got a partner I'm interested in.

I remember a few weeks ago one of the mums on the school run told me to cover up around the men and I wasn't even wearing anything particularly revealing. She actually did up a button on my top, and I was so pissed off I then undid another button and made a point of having a good chat up close with her husband over the next few weeks because I am petty like that.
