Does your age range ever fluctuate?

I’m into older women and obviously women of my age. But sometimes (on here) I really just prefer to narrow it down to something more specific. Do you think that’s weird?
My lower age range is fixed but my upper one fluctuates.
Does anything in yours change from time to time? Like, bi people, do you have time of only looking for men or women and not both?

Don't have a older age limit
But my younger one keeps going up
No wishes to see lady same age as my grown up kids
I think for lower limit have half age plus 7 years is good guide |

I think it's very difficult to set an exact age but people who leave it open at 18-99 get slated so theres a pressure to choose a range. I would be flexible in that I've chatted with people outside my range and based on interaction I'd be happy meeting them. Long winded way of saying its relative to the situation/person. |

By this I mean - for example I’ve just lowered my upper age limit by 30 years because currently I’m looking for someone closer to my age. But that’s no to say I’m not attracted to anyone older than that though. But it also means when you do advanced searches you don’t have to constantly edit your age range before searching. Maybe I’m just being lazy |

Not exactly the same age range but this is kinda what I mean. Sometimes I want to connect to someone closer to my age. Other times (upper) age doesn’t matter as much to me. |

The age thing varies for me, although it's firmly set for filter purposes. I have people I'm friends with that I would meet who are older. It's just that I'll go looking for them not the other way around. |

Not by much. I did have a lower age of 25 but had quite a few late twenties guys messing me about so put it back up to 30. 55 is probably my upper age limit but the amount of people I've met between 50 and 55 is few. |

age/2 + 7 is a pretty good rule of thumb for dating but I don't know if it applies on FAB.
It may be legal for a 45 yr old to shag an 18 yr old but for me it's a bit Prince Andrew. Then you'd have to talk to them a little as well................ |

my age range doesn't fluctuate though I have been known to make exceptionsboth above and below. I do go through periods where I am more flexible in my sexuality and go pan but I then often return to my comfort zone of hetero. |

This is so contradictory of me and I know it is but I really could never be with someone 18-22 and honestly I can’t imagine being 40 odd and being with someone 18/20. It’s contradictory because of course when k was 18-22 I met many women 40+ and didn’t care but it’s hard to explain lol |

Our upper age limit is just a guideline of who we usually find most attractive but there are exceptions to that so it’s not set in stone. I think we will end up changing our lower age limit eventually though as that’s something we stick to. |

Everyone is different in maturity, age is really just a number, I would have to meet people socially before deciding if they were compatible.
Whereas my bisexuality I'm usually attracted to feminine women and masculine men, though again I could only judge the attraction after a social meeting. |

My he range is not based upon ages of people I find physically attractive, but those that I could see myself being mentally attracted to. Even then I think I would struggle to make a mental connection…particularly with the lower end of my range.
I just cannot see me making a decent mental connection with a 25 year old no matter how mature they were. And no mental connection definitely equals no physical connection. |

Never change my lower limit which is 30 + no upper limit! But am intrigued to meet one local younger man I've been talking to but probably never will meet him! He's literally a stones throw away ! X |

At this moment my upper age limit is set and I don’t think I’d ever go higher than that but that might change when the right person comes along.
As for my lower age limit I’m currently thinking of setting it back to somewhere between 30-40, for many different reasons, my lack of confidence being the main factor. |

My upper filter has never changed as I've never been with a woman older than me at any stage so it's a bit irrelevant.
My lower filter increases every single year to always stay 10 years above my eldest child so it has nothing to do with changing preferences. |

Mine was 35 to 55 but after being messed about by the younger ones I've upped it to 45 to 55. Though at this stage the mid life crisis and menopause are factors.
Older is better I swear.
The younger ones can sod off. and I don't care if I get it in the neck for my ageist judgemental comment. |

I don't think it has since I've been on here as I've always said I would never fuck a teenager or anyone older than my Mum. However, now that you mention it, I may need to bring my lower age limit up as the age difference might bother me a bit. And yes, I know I'm a hypocrite by saying this! |

To be honest I’d meet anybody for a social and if I changed my profile wants I’d have a hard think as even though it would be a boost to my ego I don’t think the mental damage my body would inflict on a younger person is worth it…. |

Within reason, as age is an arbitrary number, it’s a poor judge of wether or not you’ll get on with someone.
For me personally, it’s all about the person, their attitude, outlook and personality. I find it interesting that some would say no purely on an upper age limit, and miss out on the Brad Pitt’s, George Clooney’s, Liz Hurley’s and Kylie Minogue’s of the world, but they do!
As a parent, the lower age range I totally understand, especially if it mirrors the ages of your children. But I’ve met and known enough people of differing ages, cultures and statuses to know that age alone is a poor judge of wether or not you’ll get on.
I don’t vary my age range search, and see how well I do or don’t connect with the person behind the profile. There is always a person behind a profile, and if you show them nothing else, at least show kindness. |
