Mrs was pissing me off badly for a couple of weeks so I shaved mine off. She was horrified and wouldn’t have sex with me until it came back. I lost that battle  |

It was an accident, I was freehand trimming some stragglers and then heard 'that' sound and it was an unsaveable gauge out of the beard so it had to go  |

I've had a couple of times I've used wrong grade and made it look odd but I couldn’t just shave it off "
I only did it cause I didn't have the guard on so it was literally unsaveable right down to skin, so I took the lot off, I looked 20 years younger, I didn't have a chin and learned never to do it again, however I have told F on a number of occasions I'll shave it off but if I do that I'll have to change my hair too  |

I grew mine quite long a few years back.
Was thinking of going full on viking but apparently according to someone it was more 'crazed lumberjack' so I was advised (the politically correct term for 'if you like having sex you'll fucking do it') to trim it right back.
Being a stubborn, opinionated man who didn't like being told what to do there was only one choice.
I trimmed it right back.
