Summertime sadness

I feel like so many people hate this hot weather and it’s killing my vibe.

We must love something about summer? Tell me what?

Also shout out to my Lana Del Ray fans that came in here hoping for something about her.

I love it. I mean, it trying to kill me every year. But the summer dresses, drinks outside and warm evenings having sex. What is not to love. Keep that vibe up sir.

I LOVE summer!

* seeing people out and about in little clothing

* tanned skin making me feel sexy

* generally feeling more positive and bright

* eating as much ice cream as I like without feeling guilty

* dining outside in beautiful surroundings

* slipping off to the beach to get sand in my ass

What's not to love

Flagrante

She was good at Glasto, wasn't she!

Um things I like?

The blue skies, my mental health loves it, seriously!

Days out at theme parks.

Holidays at the beach.

Wanting to eat salad.

Crisp cold drinks.

Crisp cold sheets, however briefly.

Getting ridicuoulsly sweaty with someone and showering with them after!

Barbecues!

Bats flying around my garden at dusk.

Smores and firepits!

Summer dresses, getting my legs out, all the while trying not to let my image demons stop me from wearing what I want.

Festivals!!

I could go on...

The long evenings, being able to enjoy the outdoors, the smell of freshly cut grass.

I really did come in here hoping for Del Rey chat. :D

There's so much I'm enjoying about this summer -

Gardening/cleaning and whining in booty shorts while listening to So Mi Like It.

All of the salads. They're so good!

Dusky warm summer evenings in a car, his hand on my thigh as we talk about nothing and everything and the wind blows through my hair.

The festivals. Love live music. Love Del Rey and so excited.

The general uplifted mood of people.

Wearing strappy sandals. Never done it before, never ever. It's glorious and my feet are finally cute.

Wearing summer dresses and feeling the breeze on my skin.

Ice cold drinks in a beer garden, in a park, in the woods. Sitting and not having to rush anywhere, just enjoying the sunshine.

The socials, the nights out, the dates. It all feels so much better in the sunshine.

And being kissed as the sun sets. The air is still warm, my libido high thanks to it being rather solar powered. It’s magical, dreamy. Makes me feel all sorts of things.

Planning a short break so I can carry on enjoy these feelings.

Love summer. Autumn has my soul, Summer now has my heart.

Try wigs corsets and gaffer tape! Not a good choice in high temperatures

- Attractive people wear less clothing.

- Spend less money on electricity.

Those are the only good things I can think of.

The light is brilliant if you're out with a camera.

I love how little laundry I have to do, as we're all wearing practically nothing. Plus how quick it dries when I have washed the clothes. Christ, I'm getting old

Amen to that. I'm glad I live alone. I've been wearing the bare minimum, bare being the operative word.

I hate summer. But there are some good things about it

- Not having to wear heavy clothing, spending time and energy wearing and carrying jackets

- Less heating bills

- People in small clothing ??

- My watch's solar charging feature is actually useful

I hate it. And I suspect if that kills your vibe, that's on you.

However, Alice loves it. And I love to see her happy. So, I guess I love it too.

Can't get enough of the summer heat, it's in my dna.

The melanin in my skin returns to a darker olive/tan. And that makes me extremely happy.

I love it. Lifts my mood. Yes I'm a bit too hot at work but I'll take that in exchange for roof down driving, summer dresses, sea swims, beach days, picnics, on general everyone is happier.

But that's not the point of the thread; I love the summer, Pickle. My skin looks better, I can wear my wayfarers all the time, and as Em says, the world just looks better!

I have a love/hate relationship with summer. I like that it doesn’t rain as much here so we can get out the house a lot more and the lighter nights. I much prefer autumn, winter time though.

Absolutely love the summer. Working shirtless with the sun on your back is truly one of the greatest pleasures in life. Long walks in countryside with dog, being able to go in water at river/beach. Everything just looks better on a blue sky bright sunny day really lifts the spirits
