Compared to Vince Neil he sounds like Andrea Bocelli… I enjoyed them despite the pitchiness the higher register he used more falsetto but he’s still got some chops. He was never Ronnie James Dio to start with

2.5 hours, 61 years old in this heat- I think he was excellent!

The sound wasn't the best at times but not all his fault.

His voice isn't what it was but he does have a very unique voice that hasn't been helped by years of drug abuse.

Saying that not many of the younger artists would be able to do that long a set as well!

Two things going on I think.

Axl’s voice is nowhere near what it used to be, whatever the cause. Secondly, tv sound issues. People were complaining about Alex Turner last night on tv and I have friends who were there and said they he sounded great

The guy is 61. He ran around that stage for two and a half hours.

Yes his voice is not what it was in the 80’s but unlike the 80’s he turned up on time and looked like he was enjoying himself.

Slash and Duff were outstanding.

Slash has got to be one of the greatest guitarists ever.

I really enjoyed watching guns n roses at Glastonbury. They were my very 1st concert way back in 91. It brought back good memories for me. Yes the sound for the vocals wasn't great on TV, but his voice wasn't that bad considering his age and his past. To be fair, his vocals were pretty hit and miss live back when he was young too.

That was my first thought too. Usually when it's just someone's name it's an announcement of passing. So you are not on your own on that one.

I watched the Isle of Wight festival last week and think it's time for Debbie Harry to quit.

Saw blondie a few years back at Kew Gardens and she was dancing, done a high kick and fell on her ass! Seeing her last week she could barely keep in tune.

Is he still a total cunt?

I remember chatting to one of the crew on a tour i worked with, he'd previously been on an Axel Rose thing.

Apparently, he came and bellowed at the crew that he was not to be disturbed under any circumstances.

He then fell asleep and was well over an hour late on stage.

He then fired the entire crew on the spot for not coming in to wake him up...although he had to swiftly change his mind the following morning, as you can't just pull and entire tour crew out of your arse to rig your S&L for the following days gig...Fekin Cockwomble!

Debbie Harry is still a good looking lady with a great back catalogue but definitely wasn't good value at the I.O.W.

Clem Burke however is still as good as ever.

Guns & Roses performance was more like an instrumental, Axl's voice barely broke through.

Seemed to improve as the set went on. Massive GnR fan tho, but axl hasn't had it for years to be fair. He abused his vocal chords early in his career and is paying for it now

That’s coming from someone who had no interest in even seeing them.

I might have to revise it a bit then. His falsetto for the last song was dire though.

Most people go to see G'n'R because they love the tunes since they first hit the big time , however the years have taken their toll on Axl's voice, unfortunately a vocalist depends on their vocal chords, the songs will always be there but unfortunately a lead vocalist depends on his voice , not like a guitarist, drummer ,bass player.

Axl's style of singing, plus not looking after his throat/voice, and with the addition of cigarettes, drugs and alcohol over the years is what has happened.

It's a shame, they otherwise were brilliant.

I was at a festival one time, the plain white t's were on stage, and I'd heard nothing by them.

When the audience joined in with Hey the Delilah, with me standing in the middle, it was amazing, gave me goose bumps.
