I’ve noticed a lot of posts with a max age of 45. As a guy over 45 I cannot message someone who made this restriction. Personally I am fitter than when I was 30, should I leave now? what do others think? |

I see a lot of profiles where they're looking for single women, gym fit bodies, people under 30, people local to Scunthorpe........so we just ignore them and use the advanced search facility to make sure the people we're looking at are potentially interested in people like us.
You'll never be everyone's cup of tea or favourite cake, so no point trying to be.

Age preferences will always be a bone of contention.
We tend to stick to people who actually want to meet our age group rather than argue with those that don't and try to change their minds.
Your comparative fitness isn't really relevant to the people who have a preference for under 45s, it's the age group they're interested in not fitness level. I'm physically fitter than some women who are younger than me but I'm still 66 and of no interest to anyone whose upper age limit is 45 or even 65. |

Wolf is 69, however you would think he’s younger. Maybe try going to large organised socials. They’re good for chatting to lots of different people of all ages. Same with clubs. Sometimes it can lead to more at a later stage. If not, you still gain some friends.

If our age is an issue for others then we'd never try and change their minds. Everyone is entitled to their own preferences.
We don't feel old, even though we are both in our 50's, we consider ourselves 'classics' haha Mrs xxx |

Age is just a number but I suppose you have to cut off somewhere.
I'd love a 25 year old hottie but in my own opinion it wouldn't look great on the arm of someone in their 40s so don't look that low.
I've seen some amazing 50+ women & couples (some on this thread) that I'd love to meet and have fun with. |

Message those you can ..those you can't ..don't bother with them , one day they'll be over 45 themselves and maybe others won't message them then ... who knows..but just message those you can ..the rest don't really matter cause you can't message them anyway  |

I've set my age range 10 yrs either side of my age (well, almost age), but wouldn't rule out someone out with that.
