I watched that too and he had my respect up until the circumstances of his death we explained. He took his 5yo up in a helicopter and flew it like he drove his cars, fast and with abandon. He flew low over trees and lost control and killed them both and two other people as well.
Undoubtedly he was the best rally driver of his day, but I've seen so many F1 drivers who were supposedly 'blessed' with speed but they were reckless with it, and didn't seem to comprehend that they weren't invincible. |
