I'm scared of being seen! But you can turn your camera off right and stay hidden?

Yes, I've used them.

Most participants in there don't have their cams on anyway.

It's not on by default. You have to enable it

Probably gone in a dozen times and still waiting on anyone to acknowledge I was there despite knowing quite a few others through the forums.

I even went in one New year's eve when someone started a thread inviting everyone to join in and again not a single response to anything I said or even an acknowledgement.

Others were joining and getting a big welcome so I assumed it was a closed shop and don't go in anymore.

We’ve been on them a few times now. Being the tech geek I’ve worked out how to set my phone up as my laptop’s webcam (better quality image, filters if you want them and software to put cartoons over your head, again if you want that). I’ve also got my laptop to cast the chat (and the cams to my living room TV. Can rooms in 55” 4K can be quite errr immersive

We’ve had a few forum people in a room at the same time and had quite a laugh. Great for perving and having a laugh with friends, It is hard to get a conversation going if you don't go in there often but no different then walking into a pub on your own and expecting a group of random strangers to engage in a conversation with you, If you're looking to make friends or just join in chatting stick to the none directing rooms, If you're looking to get off either watching or playing on cam then one of the directing rooms is the place to go. Your cam won't come on unless you activate it, My advise is watch the room chat for awhile even days to get used to how it works and how people act in there before joining in

On here I’ve gone once or twice and haven’t liked it. People get very aggressive, even on non-directing rooms and one or two keep pestering, following from room to room… like in real swinging life I suppose hhaa.

Me (Mr) on a couple of occasions over the years but never really anything interesting and soon leave thinking this is a waste of time. From a chat/social point of view they are no good to me. Being dyslexic I can read and write however I'm too slow to keep up pace. By the time I have read, processed and replied to a chat the conversation has already moved on. It all moves so fast on there.

Mrs Misfit however goes on now and then. She's seems to always find something to watch and tells me there's usually action on there. Sometimes she'll tell be about what she's seen. However when we go on together there never seems anyone to capture our intrest. So it must be me, I must be a Cam Room jinx.

During the pandemic we thought about putting ourselves on Cam. We can be exhibitionist and like to show off sometimes. However we chose not to show our faces online to the general fab public. It seemed difficult to film ourselves effectively without our faces coming into veiw at some point. Also with my dyslexia and our combined social burn out the chat side of things may not work.

No faces were on show and in all fairness the experience wasn't particularly enjoyable as it was a constant barrage of requests and wants. We understand that was what we were signing up to and of course each to their own. Haven't done it since but we're glad we gave it a go just for the experience if nothing else!
