I don't care if they like them, I care that they have to be thread topics to begin with because they're usually started by the people with beards, or tattoos, or dad bods in an effort to make them feel good about themselves by basically excluding those that don't fit into that mold  |

Not really, I prefer them to like me for me and not because of my awesome beard, my tattoos and my toned body.
Having said that if they do like those things it's obviously a plus point and if they don't then it doesn't matter |

For real. I just feel like regardless of what forum users think of these things, it doesn’t matter. Just means they wouldn’t be attracted to me? Most of them live hundreds of miles away or aren’t even what I’m looking for and if they say they don’t like guys with beards, what am i gonna do? Shave? For them?  |

Not in the slightest.
I do things my own way, for myself. Yes it's nice if I'm noticed and appeal to them, but that is just a bonus of having a certain style.
I may take recommendations about change under consideration, but I'd change them for me not because some random woman will suddenly like how I look because of it. |

I find all manner of different people attractive, I can be equally attracted to a tall muscly clean shaven guy with no tattoos just as much as a guy with a bit of a dad bod beard and tattoos or a petite alternative girl... it's all about the person and if there's chemistry |

If there's no prospect of meeting somebody then I don't care what they are into. I might be disappointed about not being somebody's type if I find them very attractive and there might otherwise be some possibility of meeting. |

Doesn't really matter if it is 1 or 1 million, it's still the fact that it's done, to hate on those that have those things. With even more intention to cause conflict.
One is a bit of self love and promotion, the other is about shitting on something and others.
Same applies to any and all appearance preference role call and it's accompanied "hate" counterpart. We don't have to fit all molds and we don't have to be included in everything.
So what if somebody wants to draw attention to themselves through something they have but you and I don't have or can't do. |

Just because they don't outright talk about not liking clean shaven men or men without tattoos doesn't mean their threads aren't exclusionary. How many men talk about looking like 12 year old without a beard, isn't that basically playing into the "manly men" narrative or the dad bod threads where women talk about wanting something to cuddle into, basically playing into the body issues slim men may have?
Just because something has the intention of self promotion doesn't mean it never has a negative effect on those not included even if it's not explicitly stated. |

As I already said above I didn't grow a beard or get tattoos for anyone other than me.
I have had introductory messages in the past from people I've never spoken to before telling me that I have to lose the beard if I hold out any hope of ever meeting them.
I've also had a few slightly more polite from people asking how attached I am to my beard as the missus loves my profile and pics but won't meet me because of the beard.
In all cases they have been told it's not up for discussion.
I can only imagine the uproar if I was to introduce myself to a woman or couple here with an opening line that instructed them to shave their pussy or lose a bit of weight before I'd consider meeting them.

It's just funny that people think men/women have a hive mind and they all like the same things. "Some do. Some don't" is the answer for most questions asked in the forums.
But I believe that the motive of these questions is to find which of the women like dad bods, athletic guys etc. It's just phrased differently.

To me it's not a matter of caring if forum women ( why them specifically I'm not sure ) like certain aesthetics on a man , it's more respecting that's what they like and that's their preference..

This thread in title and op does not suggest I’m asking women whether they like those things. Don’t know why you chimes in at all with your first comment actually seen as it had nothing to do with anything
