If you ex stood at your door one night saying I have nowhere to sleep what would you do
Jump to: Newest in thread
I have a few exes with whom I’m on very good terms. I’d probably help them out.
Some of them can go fuck themselves. Might sound harsh but I’d rather hear they spent the night on a park bench thinking about why they were such a c**t to me.

While I have some exs that I'm not really on friendly terms with, I'd not feel comfortable with them potentially having to sleep on the streets.
I've been hurt, deeply but I'm not the type of person they are, especially to leave somebody I know in such a position.
So they can stay |

There's one where I'd phone the police for breaching the restraining order, but I'm friendly with my other ex partners and would make up the spare bed and warn them that the dogs start the breakfast song before 6am. |

Last ex and sons dad I'd allow them to stay on the sofa. The one between those two, police were involved to get him out so it's a no from me. I'd send him to his mum's round the corner and hope to never see him again. |

I’d never turn down my ex/my kids’ Dad for a place to crash overnight if he needed it, and he does stay over for Xmas week/bdays/holidays so we still do family stuff. But knowing the bank is after him to resolve his mortgage (lol, he should’ve listened to me), I had to have a chat with him lately about boundaries and tell him that if/when the “what if” happens and he loses the house that under no circumstances would he be moving in with us. He was actually surprised. He’s helped a lot in fairness with diy jobs that are out of my competence, but throwing up some shelves doesn’t give him entitlement imo.
So yeah…but not long term |

wonder how he got from under the patio.
serious answer i am friends with all mine except one.so let them sleep in the spare room after making them something to eat.
The one who cheated while i was recovering from a bad accident prob give him a sleeping bag and let him sleep in the garden shed but no way would he be let in the house.Though unlikely he knows where i live now . |

Mr - Most of them yes, some, no fuckin' chance and I'd want to know how they even knew where I lived!
Miss - Maybe for one if they had a *very very* good reason. No for any others.

The majority of my exs I would let sleep in the spare bed or sofa, although I don’t keep in regular contact with them I don’t hold any bad feelings towards them….I do realise I’m very lucky to be in that position though |

My ex wife is the mother of my children and as much as she’s caused me a lot of pain I would still offer her my couch. The plus side being she’d have our children with her, so I could spend more time with them.
However if they were older and not with her, she’s on her own the way she did the same with me. Admittedly I wouldn’t if it was dark, raining and she could be at risk I couldn’t be that harsh. |

We are very far from on good terms. But id give her a bed for the night.... That said... Id probably wake up finding id been bent over bound gagged fucked royally up the arse and had all my possessions stollen once again....and facing 16 more years of counselling. |

I think with some of my exes, I’d rather wait until it’s an exceptionally warm night, when I’d drive to the local household waste management centre making them follow me on foot. When it’s warm the smell of rotting rubbish is overwhelming. Once there I’d stay in my luxurious and air conditioned car (which had fragrance management) eating a freshly prepared picnic of my favourite foods whilst showing them pictures of my comfortable, inviting spare rooms through the window.
I think I could make that last all night. |

My ex husband and father of my children, wouldn't even open the door.
Ex boyfriends, I would be very surprised if they found me! Which would be very worrying in itself. Hmmmm. Tricky. I'd probably let them in due to the shock factor and consider their stalker behaviour when it was too late! |

Let them stay in the spare room. Cook them their favourite meal. Listen to them.
There's only one ex I'd tell to fuck off. Even then, if he really needed somewhere? I'd probably soften and say come in. |
