It can be either! I think the word intent is what makes or breaks it. If the intention is just a harmless laugh then I don’t see any issue really whether single or not. Completely depends on how it makes your partner feel as well though.

I think the intent is always there, it just doesn't have to be sexual. I can be all sweetness & light and flutter my eyelashes when a work colleague is going to the vendi or they going to a shop that I need something from. |

I'm massively flirty on a night out. But that's all it is. A flirt. It doesn't mean anything. There has to be a deeper connection. So I view it as harmless fun. |

We both love flirting, but it could be sexual or non sexual depending on circumstances, timing, who it’s with and many other things. If we flirt with a passer by or a shop worker it’s just just being friendly; if we do it in a club, the chances are we want to get you into a room  |

I’m a terrible flirt. I do it with any and all and there is rarely any intent behind it.
On reflection, i sometimes wonder if I’m being a bit cruel. I have innocently flirted with people who have then shown an interest and it makes me feel guilty that I may have misled them.
I (now) know I’ve been innocently flirted with and my weird brain has convinced me there’s something in it, when there never was. |

I'll flirt with absolutely anyone who will let me, sometimes it's because I fancy someone, sometimes it's to make someone feel good and lift their spirits, other times it's just having a bit of a laugh with each other. I try my best to make sure whatever type of flirting it is doesn't get misinterpreted for another. |
