If you haven’t already get some Dutch courses. Dutch grammar and construction of sentences etc is quite different to English.

Listen to or watch Dutch kids tv, this is aimed at a more basic level than adult tv / radio so it’s easier to learn.

But also listen to Dutch radio. This definitely helps.

Good luck finding someone to actually speak to.
