To answer the OP, many acquaintances and social friends. Actual friends who I could call up if I needed something? I'm actually really lucky and now probably a dozen.

Lots of more casual friends who are wonderful, don't get me wrong.
Those who I could turn to if I really needed some help/support in whatever form that takes? 6. That's quite a nice number isn't it? I might not talk daily to them, we might not see each other every month, we might bicker from time to time but I know that whatever happens they'd be there. Show up without question.
I'm really lucky to have those people and I think our friendship transcends fab. |
