I have been known to shed a tear from time to time, like watching the bit when Eliot says goodbye to E.T. thinking it is dead, or the bit towards the end of It's A Wonderful Life; or the scene when Scout discovered Boo Bradley was hiding behind Jem's bedroom door after rescuing him from being harmed; or the scene when Scalett was so hungry she would eat a root vegetable raw, and declared she would never be hungry again; etc. etc. etc...

I found Watership Down boring. Bamboo is a nice film but doesn't make me cry.

I've cried at Dumbo since I was a kid, it's a standing joke now with my kids that they pretend to hand out wellies and rain macs if we watch it together.

If you want a film that will bring to a great emotional crescendo then leave you without a happy Hollywood ending watch before women had wings......it's my go to film when I need a good cry to make me feel better

Same with my lot! It's always when Mrs Dumbo is locked up for being mad. She sings baby of mine and rocks Dumbo through the bars with her trunk. I sit quiet hoping they won't notice, but the tears still slide down my face and drop off my chin.

Until recently the last time I cried was 26 July 1990, my sons funeral. Didn't cry when I left my husband, didn't cry when I was told after losing 80% of my site it may not return, didn't cry when shopping for my daughters wedding dress, didn't cry on her wedding day last August.

Hit the menopause and watching Undercover Boss this morning through tears ffs!

Am afraid I am one of those people who cry at anything, some news stories, soaps, filmwise, not seen many where I don't cry at some point. I even cry at the soundtrack to Les Mis coz I picture what part of the show a song is from :-/
