Out rowing with a mate and find out he was scared of cows as we rowed past a field full of them...
I then went on to convince him how savage cows are and the fact that they can swim and attack boats. This was all backed up by telling him the history of the black canal and why it was called that... ie due to the cows attacking the boats and as they swam near, they would put their knees through the bottom of the boats and cause the hauliers to lose their stock of items like coal or tar and this being what made the canal black.
Chucking to myself now as I recall it. |

When my sister was 14 I told her koalas weren’t real. I said they’re like unicorns. She believed me.
