What's the most important thing that you forgot?

We were once on a family holiday in Ibiza, I had told the hotel it was my daughter's birthday on arrival, we had booked a cake to be delivered when the evening meal was taking place later in the week. We had got up the morning of her birthday and spent all day not knowing, no cards, presents, nothing not realising until we was having dinner and the cake arrived with the staff singing happy birthday to her.
I just felt terrible and still think of it every birthday lol.
Have a great day all.

That’s terrible but also funny and the fact your child didn’t say anything……
When I had my first child I left her in a trolly in a different aisle in the supermarket, it wasn’t until the wife asked……. |

My son, Kevin, started playing up the night before a family trip to Paris, so I made him sleep in the loft.
After we mistakenly left for the airport without Kevin, he woke to an empty house and assumed his wish to have no family has finally come true.
But his excitement soured when he realised that two con men planned to rob our house, and that he alone must protect the family home. |

I took the little one to the drs and had to park on the right street, got home and didn't realise for a few days I left the pram on the pavement at the side of the car.
Least it wasn't the baby though!!
I also once left my dog tied up outside Tesco realised when I got home and rushed back, poor thing must have just watched as I walked past completely ignoring him.

We both forgot our 19th wedding Anniversary recently. So busy and distracted with club visits and day to day life.
It was around three in the afternoon on said day when we were checking our diarys. We both looked up at each other with a mutual understanding as to why we forgot. We couldn't stop laughing. Then made up for the lack of cards or gifts with a steamy session. |

Did you just leave him in the 10 bedroom mansion by mistake? |

Well at least you only forgot him once, twice would be bad parenting |

"Left a suitcase on the train once. When you see that train go and you just realise …….FUCK !!!!!! "
I did that with a laptop bag two days after starting a new job (I wasn't used to public transport commuting, so just wandered off the train with my hands on my pockets). I jumped in my car in the car park and raced the train to it's final destination and got there as they were doing the turnaround clean up but there was no bag. Luckily it turned up about 4 days later in Bristol! |

A guy in knew years back parked his car in a car park next to a pub in High Street.
Got pissed and a cab home.
Went back next day to the car park the other side of the pub....
Assumed car was nicked
