Tbf I’ve done this a few times if the first message totally ignored what my profile said. I think it’s because if you leave some guys on read they get nasty with you. It makes me nervous about opening messages in the first place and blocking is a quick way to avoid drama and persistent messaging.

Most people are not mutually compatible with most other people. This ultimately means that most people would be blocked, once any party has discovered which ones aren't matching.
If you don't expect to be blocked from most people who you start chatting with, you need to adjust your expectations.
Of course the other people have good reasons for blocking you, if you don't match. Move on, get over it |

I seem to be bloçking every day and I'm sure the people I've blocked have no idea why.
If they had taken the trouble to even read the first line of my profile they would know full well.
As previously said, there is always a reason you end up on someone's block list |

Some people just use it as a tool. I do. It’s nothing personal. If someone messages and I’m not interested I just delete and block. It’s just always worked for me, never had any abuse from men or nasty messages. I’ve never blocked anyone from the forum though, I just use private notes sometimes. |
