Wondering what people think of members who have no blacks or Asian or white on there profiles , personally I find people attractive from all races and backgrounds, yea someone might not be my type but that doesn’t mean I don’t like the whole race the person belongs to x

But who do they sleep with if they don't with any of them?

I don't think anything of it to be honest, each to their own.

I block people with that in their profile.

My block list is surprisingly long due to it.

I don’t care what their reasons are; just instant block.

It's called personal preference

I find any talk about race and sex off-putting. 'No black men' icks me as much as 'only black men'

It's never about the race and always about the person for me.

I always ignore "You like black/asian/white dick?" messages. Creeps me out.

"It's called personal preference"

That you find a whole race unattractive ?? Goes a bit deeper than that I think tbh

Not actually seen any profiles with that on but ultimately it's their profile to do with as they wish.

Yea definitely I agree it’s all about the person not their race

I wouldn’t put it in my profile, but that’s because it’s MY profile.

Why get hung up on what someone else’s preferences might be?!!

It's a trick one, it will always be a tricky one. It will always be a racist/preference argument that will never be settled.

I can see both sides to it, there are definitely pros and cons to each side of the argument - is it pref or racist.

For me though, regardless of the actual reasons for it, when it comes to sex nobody should be pressured to justify if why they do or do not want sex with somebody for any reason.

With that said, I think it's stupid stating it on a profile anyway. Not like they are going to respond to those they don't want. But it does help people add to their block list as filters.

Signalling your virtue there OP by putting others down for their choices.

Good luck with the approach.

This had been done to death and ends up with 2 schools of thought. Some think it's a simple preference others find it odd and possibily/probably racist. Tends to get very heated and upset people. You can do a search but do so at your own risk.

Up My Own Arse Apparently

I'd question the intellect of any person who states "No (insert group)" in their profile tbh. That applies not only to those who rule out every single member of a particular race but also those those state "no tories, terfs....". Makes you look about 12.

The only exception to the above is of course my own "No arseholes" policy.

I agree with this. Ultimately, we'll never know the true motivation behind why people have those phrases on their profile so and the people who do will staunchly defend their choice. God knows I've gotten tired of arguing about it.

I’m genuinely not trying to put anyone down I’m just saying there’s gorgeous and nice people from every background and I personally wouldn’t exclude a whole race of people basically saying there ugly or unattractive

I agree with the no arsehole policy and totally agree makes you looks 12 when you have that kind of menatality

If I see someone who isn't interested in us I move on.

I might think there's a reason they make their choices but that's as much on me as them.

Worrying about why people have preferences and why they exclude you is pointless and I'd never bother engaging with them to ask why.

I would date any colour of female and whatever religion they follow isn't an issue either.

They just need to be attractive.

Seems racist to me

You could be a waaaaaay lot more subtle about it. Someone white messages you and you’re not attracted to white men? Just ignore them, or say ‘sorry you’re not my type’

No need to be rude about it

I also feel really gross when I see people fetishising other races. The term BBC winds me up, but I’m not a black person with a penis, so I’m not going to act offended on behalf of someone else. Just feels wrong to me

What about the countless black men on here who refer to themselves as BBCs or "chocolate" whatever? I get what you're saying but when members of a particular race happily refer to themselves using these terms then how can white people be called racist for using the same term. I may well be missing something here though.

I actually agree with you, if unsettles me and I have never understood it. I think alot of Caucasian women want black only essentially fetishising the ethnicity and likewise I think anyone that says white only has views that I could never agree with.

I get each to their own etc but how a skin colour can completely make someone not hot to you due to that alone is something I will never understand
