Do you prefer the way you look now than you looked

10 year's ago?
Looking back on photos at myself and the Mr around 10 year's ago, I prefer what we look like now to back then.
People always crave about looking younger but I prefer the now to then.
Have a great fathers day all. |

Hmm.
Overall, I'm happier with how I look now that I was 10 years ago. But I don't think much has changed aside from a few extra crows feet and a happier attitude to myself.
I suppose if it was an option I'd go back to ten years ago just so my knees didn't ache. But purely aesthetic wise, I wouldn't bother. |

Facially, I look quite similar, so it's not much of a choice. At a push, I'd go for my younger face, as I would inevitably have fewer wrinkles.
Body wise, I'm probably a little bigger now as I did more cardio than anything back then, but overall I prefer my body now. So I need some kind of new/old face/body swap. |

The face is the same I haven't changed that since my teens so looking younger isn't a problem for me. My body though I 100% feel better now as I'm a lot lighter than I was back in the day. |

Now.
Ten years ago I had really really frizzy hair, acne thanks to the wrong contraception. Size 26. My face looks sad in photos. You know when someone doesn't like how they look at all?
But now I look at photos of me and see the genuine smile. I like my soft curves, my jiggly bits, my tummy. My giant bum. My skin is clear, no wrinkles. My hair is less frizzy. The biggest thing isn't the weight loss. It's now I'm happier with how I look and I think that's increasing every day and people are responding to it.
I do have three grey hairs though. |

I haven't aged, still look the same now to when I did 10 years.
Life experience has made me stronger and wiser but still kind, those who have mistreated is a reflection of themselves.
My stern profile write up is due to the odd messages I have had while being on this site over time so I can gratefully say I don't get floods of messages to go through
I wouldn't want to experience that xxx |

10 years ago I was marginally less fugly. 20 years ago I was verging on attractive. 25 years ago I was approached at university to put together a portfolio for a modelling contract.
So, yes, everything gets worse every day in every way. Plummeting towards death and utter oblivion.
Happy Father's Day, everyone. |

I was very gym fit if I do say so myself, others did too. About 5st lighter and chasing the ultimate personal goals... Pretty good in how I felt physically, pretty miserable in my relationship. Now much fatter, not necessarily happier. But I don't dislike me, so that's enough |

I’d say now tbh.
I’ve realised that confidence isn’t about how you look and feel but actually more aligned with not giving a toss about what others think of you. Confidence thrives when you begin to embrace the face and body you were born with.
I was a right ugly wee bastard though, |

I looked younger ten years ago for sure and looking back on photos I looked pretty good.
Do I prefer how I looked then? That question made me think. I'm heading at break neck speed towards 70, the cult of youth is strong and many people have joined, it's difficult to resist it's influence. I don't prefer how I looked then but sometimes I can't resist wishing I had younger skin. |

I didn't appreciate how i looked in my 20s /30s because i didn't meet conventional beauty standards... But when i hit my 40s i just thought fuck that and have accepted myself for who i am. I'm enjoying my fifties - my hair +tits look great, everything else is not bad for the amount of living its done |

I think I look better now as in I am more comfortable in the style of clothes I wear I am also more confident in who I am.
But I can’t lie, I had a better body 10 years ago that didn’t fail so often

I'm personally feeling a lot more comfortable in my skin these days than I did 10 years ago, and for me I think that has a lot to do with it

I prefer how I looked back then before I was disabled and gained a lot of weight as a result but I’m more confident now than I was when I was slimmer which is weird. Mostly I miss the ability of my younger body before my disability |

I loved my hair back then. My titties were slightly perkier. And I don't know why but I do prefer now, I just feel more like myself and it shows in my appearance. |

I’m heavier now but ten years ago I was in the throes of grief and looked like boiled shite.
If I could choose a figure, I’d say when I was 23 before kids, or 35 after I lost weight and had an hourglass shape.
I wish I was as big as I was, when I thought I looked big. |

I'm pretty happy. I've bulked out a bit which I'm happy with and although it's come with a bit of unwanted fat, I can deal with that.
I'm also happier in who I am as a person. Less timid and more outgoing and even a.little more confident |
